During the past six weeks...
…Matt has been playing
mechanic and wading through car importation paperwork. We now have a control technique (French MOT)
…Bex has been playing Santa’s little helper, designing and making Christmas presents, baking millions of mince pies and mulling masses of wine, as well as launching
theblesskitchen
…Pixie has been playing with her new baby-buddy,
Ethan, the newest edition to the Bethanie community, born on 19
th November.
The Bethanie diary has been full of seasonal shindigs. We celebrated (Liberian)
thanksgiving with a game of tag-football, pumpkin spiced lattes and an American themed dinner. We’ve also hosted a heart2bless prayer weekend on the theme of remembrance and invited local friends and farmers to a
‘Franglaise’ carol service.
Matt has been on his travels across Europe, with an epic thirty-hour-tri-train-trip to Croatia to talk theology and a weekend in Eastbourne at Youthwork the Conference, where we set up a
prismatic prayer room on the theme of church.
2011 has been an incredible year of God’s constant presence with us, God’s timely provision for us and God’s prophetic promises spoken over us. As we remember all that God has done this year we raise our Ebenezer in praise –
thus far the Lord has helped us…
Read, pray and/or
listen to this amazing carol
Come Thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I'm fixed upon it
Mount of Thy unchanging love
Here I raise my Ebenezer
Here there by Thy help I come
And I hope by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home
Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wandering from the fold of God
He to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious blood
Thank you SO MUCH for reading, praying and supporting us.
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!
