It may not seem like it outside, but we are already two weeks into Spring! While we at FitNut love our root vegetables of the winter, we are also anticipating the warm weather and fresh spring greens. Not only are they delicious, they're also good for you! In this month's issue, we will cover some of the nutritional benefits of some of our favourite spring vegetables before sharing a recipe for a light spring salad. Recipe of the Month:
Asian Radish Slaw

Asian Radish SlawRadishes are better known for their distinct peppery taste, but they are actually good sources of vitamin C and potassium. Radishes take centre stage in this crunchy, low-calorie salad, which uses rice vinegar to bring it a pleasant, tart flavour. Serve it with grilled fish and brown rice for an Asian-inspired meal.
