Our fast growth within the last few years convinced us to publish a newsletter to share the latest information about Medistri targets and objectives. I hope this news letter will help us strengthen our communication. The publishing will be twice a year, we are looking forward to receive your comments and feedbacks.

Passing the 5 years anniversary is a special event for a small company, it means solid roots, establish business, reliable team and loyal customers. Medistri was founded in 2006 with a capital of 500’000.- CHF and a small team of 6 young and motivated people. During the last 5 years our shareholders always believed in our success and never hesitated to reinvest in growth of this company. The increase of capital to 2’500’000.- helped us to enforce our team and services.
I would like to thank our loyal customers, reliable suppliers and motivated team who all participated in growth and success of the last 5 years. I am very confident that the next 5 years will be very challenging and successful. Looking forward to 10 years edition with an open spirite and motivated attitude.

The end of 2010 was financially marked by reaching the breakeven threshold and the management is happy to be in the positive territory starting 2011. In fact with sales growth of over 25% per annum, Medistri is proud to have overcome the difficult barriers that any startup faces. Concerning the cash circulation, Medistri is grateful to its customers for the speed at which they process Medistri’s bills. For the first half of 2011, 70% of the bills were paid within 45 days which helps Medistri to improve and to expand the services it offers its customers and treat the suppliers bills the fastest possible. Finally, Medistri is pleased to have the support of two major local banks which is a crucial factor in its expansion.

STERILIZATION NEWS
Installation of the second sterilization chamber
Medistri is proud to announce you that the new sterilizer with 16 pallets is installed and ready to validate existing and new products. This new chamber provides available capacity and back-up solution to our fast growing customers. Please contact us, if you want to discuss about the possibility to qualify the chamber for your product.
Processing time
After validation of product in the second chamber, the possibility to run more often mix or single load cycles is increased to shorten the lead time.
Express processing
Products could be shipped before 17:00 on week days and pick up under parametric release next morning if no aeration is required at 7:30 for only an extra charge of 25%.
Products could be shipped on Friday before 17:00 and pick up Monday at 7:30 for only an extra charge of 25%.

NEWS ABOUT THE LAB
Accreditation
The pallet of accredited tests was extended by including the endotoxin testing, environmental monitoring, gram staining and identification of microorganisms.
DNA Validation
The reaction of Ethylene Oxide to break down the DNA profile has been validated at Medistri Lab. The customers requiring DNA free products could use this qualification and validate their manufacturing process by using the predefined parameters developed for this use.
