AAPI Roundtable at the Department of Veterans Affairs
The Department of Veterans Affairs and the White House Initiative on AAPI’s is hosting an AAPI Roundtable on Tuesday, January 31st in Washington, DC. HND would like to thank both the WHIAAPI and the VA for reaching out to HND regarding key issues currently facing Hmong veterans. HND, along with SEARAC, have submitted our main concerns and questions regarding Hmong and Southeast Asian veterans' rights for the roundtable. These include veteran access to health and mental health care, SSI, and job training/readiness programs.
