October 31, 2011
November is just a whisper away with its turkeys, pies and harvest festivals. It's is a time for "giving thanks". One that many people only do once a year. We rush through life, singly focused, and only when a tragedy strikes, do we stop and take notice of what is important.
November will mark a difficult time for me. It will be one year since my father suddenly passed away. At night, I can still hear his voice, and the pain of loss. So, I am busy editing, formatting and printing my fathers second and last book, a tribute to a man so loved and honored by friends and family. I feel good about remembering and preserving a Family Legacy.
This holiday, remember your loved ones, how time is precious and fleeting. And preserve this time in a memory book, one that your family will cherish for years.
God Bless!

10 Steps to Kindle Publishing
Includes TOC, Copyright Page, and Page Breaks

Unfortunately, the process is still overly complicated for many. So I have resurrected a method for Kindle publishing that uses Word's built in Find Replace tool. It is a Get It Done method -- pure and simple -- that offers cleaner code, the TOC and copyright page.
I have included a step-by-step tutorial on how to create your HTML file "in" Word and then transfer the output to a pre-made template you can download. And With Amazon KDP program now able to add your product cover image into your e-book, you no longer need to embed the cover into your HTML file. (I have not tested this, but they say it works)
