Dear <<First Name>>,
We hope all of our friends and colleagues in the Northern hemisphere are having a great Summer! We would like to take this opportunity to update you on our news from last quarter (Q2), as well as let you know about current and future Whereoil software releases and upcoming events.
This Spring we expanded our sales of Whereoil software to Asia, Australia and South America. We hired a sales manager for the EMEA region, further expanding our reach into Europe and the Middle East. Be sure to come meet him at upcoming events! As for events, we are delighted to be co-presenting with Statoil at the ECIM conference, in Haugesund, Norway, on the GeoTracker system. Also in conjunction with the ECIM, we are hosting a cruise to Røvær. We encourage those of you attending to register soon, as spaces are limited!
Our latest Whereoil software updates includes the release of Whereoil Search 2.4 and Whereoil Edit 2.8. You will find a new calendar feature, breadcrumbs for easy filtering of search results, and newly remodeled authorization services. We’ll be posting details on our website about upcoming releases of Whereoil Map 2.4 and Petrel 2.6 (due for completion at the end of the summer) soon!
As always, you can reach our Support over the summer months during regular business hours. If we don't see you offline, we hope to see you on! Please join us on LinkedIN, Twitter and Facebook.
Thanks for sharing the KADME eNewsletter with colleagues and your Whereoil users!
Best Wishes,
KADME

EPIS: The National Data Repository (NDR) of Colombia
The Hydrocarbons Agency of Colombia (ANH) runs a Whereoil-based software solution for Colombia’s National Data Repository (NDR), EPIS. We've completed the first two phases of the improvement projects scheduled for the EPIS NDR for this year. We are increasing automated operations of the EPIS system, which means less time will be spent loading data. We made automatic improvements in the quality of the metadata that we transferred from the legacy data-silos used by the previous operator of EPIS. Finally, we have enhanced some of the software features on the basis of ANH's requirements, in line with our stand that no NDR is the same as any other!
Visit the EPIS website and check out the overlap of the EPIS spatial data with Google satellite imagery!
