Last year six recipients of the 2011 M&G NSW Fellowships and Mentorships engaged in a two week professional development exchange with reputable institutions in Australia and overseas. M&G NSW invites you to a special presentation on the recipients' experiences including the important insights and professional connections they made while embedded at their host institution.
Samantha Sinnayah, Curator of the George Hanna Memorial Museum, successfully applied for an M&G NSW Mentorship at the Western Plains Cultural Centre (WPCC) and the National Museum of Australia (NMA). Along with learning a great deal from these organisations, she all visited several regional museums in the area. You can read about her experience here on the M&G NSW blog.
Along with Samantha, five other recipients will discuss how their exhanges have provided fresh insight into available opportunities for their museum or gallery.
Come and hear first-hand the benefits of participating in the program. This presentation is a free event and a chance for interested and prospective 2012 Fellowship & Mentorship applicants to find out more about the application process.
