Last week we asked for help to promote the positive message of community power and dozens responded. This week, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we were able to publish the first advertisement in The Hepburn Advocate.
We have now raised over $1200 to place the same advertisement in The Courier, the Ballarat based daily paper read by 19,000 in our region. We need to raise just $1800 more to place the full page advertisement.
For those of you that didn’t see the previous email, we received a wonderful letter from Prime Minister Julia Gillard on the importance of the opening of our community’s wind farm. We showed it to a few members and they begged us to publish it in our local papers — the Hepburn Advocate and The Courier.

(While we are facilitating the placement, the advertisements are funded solely out of donations by members.)
