The Final Showdown!

Was Week 8 crazy, or what? With the clock ticking down to midnight and none of us at all certain of our "celebrity status," Neeraj, Ntathu, and I were writing and posting neck-and-neck. Our own posts counted for only half what a "celebrity's" or "A-Lister's" tweet would bring in, pointwise. But if we had to win Immunity on post points, alone, by golly we would! Neeraj and I each wrote and published 9 blog posts Friday - for a total of 18 between us! Who the heck writes, let alone publishes, 9 posts in one day?? We do. Ntathu wasn't far behind, and the two of them were dogging me the whole time - I'd post, and one of theirs would hit the drafts folder, only to be released minutes later! It's not as if that's all we did all day, either! Ntathu taught, I worked, Neeraj filled out university applications. He got an excellent score on the GRE, by the way. Congratulations, Neeraj!

It's amazing - our Alexa ranking may be in the 90Ks worldwide by week's end! 

Now What?

Week 9 FTW! "Promotion on Steroids" - or, Practice Everything We've Learned So Far...

I'm going to cut to the chase - I need your help. I need for you to do as many of the following activities as you are willing to do, from Monday through Friday, in exchange for which you get to watch me juggling virtual chainsaws, or at least running around like mad writing posts that I hope will amuse, entertain, enlighten, or provoke you - into doing what it takes to help me cross the finish line a winner. At stake? Nothing less than the ownership of TheNextGoal.com.

Here's how you can help:

1. For each post I write at http://thenextgoal.com this week: Leave one comment, Like it, +1 it, share it on Twitter, and on LinkedIN. (You can do each of these things more than once, but only one of each counts for points.)
    
2. Tell everyone you know to do the same. And tell them to hold off reading posts by my worthy competitor until, say, Saturday next.
    
3. IF you blog, please blog about my posts - add as many links back to any posts I've written on http://thenextgoal.com as you're willing to add. Yes - that means any post I've written there since the start of the contest - there are nearly 40 to choose from, and you can link to them all, if you like. (I'd offer to guest post, but I'm not allowed to count any links back to my posts if they're in posts I've written!) I will do my utmost to promote your blog in return. (I am, apparently, fairly good at shameless blog promotion - and I will be thrilled to do this for you, too.) Please email me links to any posts you write!

I don't know if this poll allows you to vote more than once - if it does, and the rules do not forbid it, "vote early and vote often" - but don't commit voter fraud on my behalf!
