Hello Member Owners 

Spring is officially here, and although we are off to a soggy start, the warm sunny days we all look forward to get closer with each passing rain shower. The much welcomed change in seasons has everyone  at the Co-op feeling inspired and the improvements to your store continue...

We have been really busy; March sales were fantastic, even better than February, making March 2011 our new best month ever!
With our sales continuing to increase each month we can't say enough about how excited we really are to see first hand the growing awareness and commitment to local food, buying local and cooperative business  in our community.

The Greenhouse at the Co-op is operational. It is absolutely wonderful to see the benches full of organic vegetable starts, and truly inspiring. What a shining example of how much a dedicated group of people can get done when they cooperate with one another! Check out the pictures on the web page.

What's new at the Co-op?

NEW HOURS OF BUSINESS
We have expanded our hours to better meet the needs of our member owners and shoppers.
We are now open Monday - Saturday 7am-9pm, Sunday's are the same as before, 10am- 6pm.

DELI AREA REMODEL AND IMPROVED CUSTOMER SERVICE...
We are increasing the deli area seating space and installing a register at the deli counter! This will require a little rearranging, we are making good progress on the work and expect the entire project to be complete by the end of April! We think you will really enjoy the results and look forward to serving you better.

YOU CAN NOW ENJOY BEER OR WINE IN THE DELI DINING AREA!!
After a very large number of requests, and quite a bit of paper work,
we can now allow our member owners and shoppers over the age of 21 to purchase a bottle of beer or wine to consume at the Co-op!
This great change even got us in the news again!
You may now choose a beverage from the wonderful selections in our beer and wine department, purchase it at the registers, and request that your cashier open it for you to consume right here at the Co-op! When the weather gets nicer and the patio fence is complete you will be able to do the same out front in the lovely sunshine on our patio!

April 16th Main Market Co-op Annual Meeting 10am at the Magic Lantern Theater
Be sure to attend this important Member Owner meeting and vote for your directors.

April 23rd Spokane Earth Day Celebration
 Be sure to bring your friends and family down to join in the festivities and learn all about the many sustainable options we have in our community.  Main Market Co-op parking lot will be closed, along with the rest of block from the corner of Browne to Division.
